What I’ve learned about my writing over the past three weeks

I love the fucking shit out of starting sentences with conjunctions. It’s beginning to annoy me a bit.
I use the em dash unintentionally at least once in every story. Again, kind of obnoxious. But they’re so damn useful with pacing.
Data bores me. Quotes are awesome, especially when dialect comes through.
I’m really really picky with my diction.

The past two nights, I’ve dreamed about The Catcher in the Rye. I haven’t even read it. What?

Take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.
